Pastor Brian joined Discovery in September 2019. Previously Brian served as Lead Pastor to a church in Ontario. Brian and his wife Heather have three awesome kids.  Brian loves to walk with people as they navigate what it means to follow Jesus in their lives. Brian’s passion is working together with other churches to advance the Kingdom of God in the unity that Jesus prayed over His disciples.

Brian and Heather love exploring new areas, local events, different ethnic foods, and playing board games with their family and friends.

Stanly T. Joseph is originally from India and served in Vancouver during his master’s studies. With over a decade of devoted ministry experience, including the transformative journey of planting a church in India, Stanly brings a deep passion for equipping others to grow in their faith.

His mission is simple yet profound: to make disciples who make disciples, empowering people at every stage of their spiritual journey. Prayer sits at the heart of his ministry, which he sees as the foundation for spiritual growth and a deeper relationship with God.

Stanly leads with servant-hearted humility, believing that true leadership begins with listening, supporting, and empowering others. For him, ministry isn’t a program; it’s walking alongside people through every season of life, pointing them to Christ through both word and action.

Fluent in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi, Stanly is able to connect with and serve a wide range of communities. He is married to Shweta, and together they are raising their son, Ethan.

Hannah has been attending Discovery for a little over a year and has been involved in the youth program here as well as volunteering at Jr. Youth ministries in town.  Hannah graduated from Campbell River Christian School in June and is excited to attend North Island College in September.  Hannah has worked at Camp Bob in previous summers and is excited to bring her passion for children and youth, her organizational skills and her heart for Jesus to the work at Discovery.

Jessie loves working with children and youth.  She has served at Camp Bob for many summers and looks forward to bringing her passion for Jesus and the next generation to Discovery.
