Sunday Worship Service

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

We offer multiple ways of worshiping with us on Sundays at 10AM, including online and in person. Our worship service is approximately 75-90 minutes and includes music, teaching from the bible, and times of prayer. You can expect a friendly welcome and a relaxed environment.

When we gather together in community, we recognize that it is a privilege to worship God, and that He is our focus. All that we do is for His Glory and Honour, not ours.

We recognize that God is more concerned about fostering a personal relationship with us than with what we are wearing. We ask that people come as they are comfortable, whether that is jeans and a t-shirt, or the full three piece suit!

FAQ'S

WHERE AND WHEN DO YOU MEET?

Our worship service is Sunday mornings at 10:00AM in-person as well as online.

Our Church building is at 250 10th Ave in downtown Campbell River, BC.

WHERE DO I PARK?

There’s free street parking all along 10th Ave, but it can fill up quickly.  We suggest you park at the Campbell River Community Centre, located directly behind Discovery Community Church or in other public parking available close by.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Clothes. From that point on, it’s whatever you’re comfortable wearing! We’re more concerned with what’s going on inside a person than with what they look like on the outside.  Whether it’s jeans or a three-piece-suit, just feel comfortable!

(Our pastors usually wear jeans)

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

At Discovery, we value all ages. We offer Nursery/Preschool care starting 10 minutes before our worship service.  Children in Kindergarten to grade 8 are dismissed after the first half of the service.
